Absorption Pro identifies multiple Absorption patterns. Irrespective of the absorption pattern, it is a sign that the activity of aggressive traders has been overwhelmed by the supply/demand of passive traders’ limit orders. Larger passive trader liquidity has absorbed all of the activity of aggressive traders. The aggressive traders have not been able to defeat the supply/demand of the passive traders. If they had, the market would go higher (aggressive traders consume the available supply) or lower (aggressive traders consume the available demand). If aggressive traders cannot consume the liquidity on offer from passive traders, then the market will not continue in the direction it was travelling. It may pause or reverse, especially if aggressive traders exit their non-performing positions.
Delta Divergence Pro
Delta Divergence Pro highlights Exhaustion by analysing different forms of Delta Divergence. We look for Exhaustion at the extremes of price bars. Delta Divergence is telling us when the delta across price bars is not moving in the same direction as price. We are effectively stretching the Exhaustion that we would see at the extreme of a slower price bar across a number of faster price bars.

These are price levels that have not established the presence of the last buyer or seller and can form excellent intra-day targets when qualified using the emoji Advanced Lookback Filter to identify them at significant session or daily levels.
Highlight Absorption
Select whether Absorption is identified when:
• the Unfinished Business Price level exhibits the Maximum level of Absorption within the bar
• the Unfinished Business Price level exhibits Absorption Relative to the price level that precedes it
• Both of these conditions are evaluated, i.e. the presence of either condition will Highlight Absorption
